Blu is the newest luxury condominium project on Okaloosa Island completed July 2019. Blu #100 offers the best floor-plan at Blu with balcony not directly off the pool deck that provides more privacy for your stay. The location of Blu #100 ensures a quite stay away from the busy pool deck.

HOA only issues two parking passes per unit, having a dedicated covered spot you know you can use is helpful especially on hot summer days or should it be raining outside

What makes Blu unique besides being brand new is it is on the quiet end of the island directly on the Gulf of Mexico with over 300 feet of private gulf-front living. We share all this beach with only 46 other unit owners. Our resort amenities to unit doors will be the best on the island offering two large pools (one heated), one zero entry, a beach side fire pit, huge hot tub, state of the art fitness center, gated security, and professional grilling area. This will be the least crowded condominium within 30 miles in either direction on the beach with these amenities!
Our unit is an expansive 1957 square feet of heated and cooled space. This unit has the largest master bedroom, kitchen, & living/dining area of any plan at Blu! We have a huge gourmet kitchen with an over sized dining area and eat in bar! This flows to an over sized living room complete with a Smart 70" TV. Our three large bedrooms each with on suite baths and 55" Smart Samsung TV's provide excellent comfort. The master bath has a soaking tub and separate shower!
In addition, we have turned the media room into a fourth bedroom with a queen over queen custom bunk bed that will have the kids fighting over who gets to sleep up top! To make sure everyone keeps clean clothes during the week we have a laundry room with full size washer and dryer.
Finally, maybe the best part is we are an end unit not sharing any of our walls with neighbors, set back to provide privacy with our own balcony, while still allowing for walk out to all amenities located on the same floor of beautiful Blu! Simply head out our front door past two units, hang a left through the lobby, and you're on the pool deck!
We love that we only use the elevator on arrival and departure days to unpack and pack!
What we are truly excited about is our guests can go from the serenity of the quiet side of Okaloosa Island to all that is offered on the island Wild Willy's, The Gulf, The Gulfarium, and the Boardwalk is a short 2-mile walk or drive. Just past that is the excitement of downtown Fort Walton along with the Publix (grocery story) only 2.5 miles away. You can check out all that Destin Harbor and Harbor Walk Village has to offer a short 7-mile drive away!

**RESTAURANT RECOMMENDATIONS**
On the Island: (Walking Distance)
The best restaurant is Old Bay Steamer, it is a bit pricey but excellent. We love the atmosphere of The Gulf, this is a container ship restaurant located outside the kids will play for hours. Stewby’s is great for fresh fish at a “value” price. Fubar is on the water a bit like a dive college bar, but they have solid bar food and pizza with live music. At the boardwalk our favorite location with a view of the ocean is Rockin Taco, food is good the view is fantastic! Rick’s on the island has excellent gumbo, they use cheese grits in instead of rice!
Downtown FWB: (Less than 2.5 miles away)
We love the vibe of downtown FWB. It is sort of like a college bar hits a gritty arts scene. They have about 15 restaurants that are all walkable. KC’s Sandbar usually has live music outside in the sand during season with solid wings and a huge beer selection. We love Taste for tapas. The Boardroom and Cowhead have great sandwiches, too! Alis Bistro is solid Italian with a nice happy hour. They also have food trucks. Maas coffee roasters has excellent coffee! You should check for activities and festivals, too. The farmers market is the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 8 AM to 1 PM. Finally a bit past downtown in FWB is The Bavarian's Wirtshaus, this is an authentic German restaurant that our friend from Europe says is a close as it gets to the real deal.
